This question comes up quite a bit from clients - "what services do I tip for and how much?". I can tell you this: all your vendors are providing a service that should receive a tip. Wait a second, some people are already thinking, "nope, she's wrong. You don't tip EVERY vendor. Some are already providing to you their product or service and you have already paid them for that". You're right - they have or will be providing to you the product or service you purchased from them, contracted them to do or rented from, but tips can come in all shapes and forms and the best one you can give ANY vendor is a - review.
Reviews can be positive or constructive. They can be sent in any form - written, typed, post card, thank you card, social media and most importantly, word of mouth (WOM). Letting that vendor know just how amazing they made you and your partner feel, or how much fun your guests had or, if they went above and beyond your wildest expectations.
Budgets are numbers. Budgets are money driven. Going the extra mile - doesn't cost anything, and your "Thank You" doesn't have to either. Just feeling appreciated as a vendor, is often all we need to feel like a "job well done".
